I love to see how creative people are and that's why I do custom art work.  Just let me know what you would like to have on a slate and I will do the rest.  Below I have put some pictures of what people have requested and it has been fun to see the different ideas that people have come up with.  There is an additional charge of $5.00 added to the slate price for custom work.

I did this 6x12 slate for a wedding, the couple loves the beach and of course their dog so the brides mom did this for the guest book table and then after they are using it for a welcome sign at their door of their new home.

This is also a 6x12 slate of a gentleman's boat.  He loves his boat so much he wanted a slate done for his office.

These two chairs are living in Pennsylvannia.  A couple just married wanted to give the grooms parents a thank you gift so they saw my chairs and ordered two.  One was for the Mom of her favorite scene and the other for the Dad of his favorite scene.  A fun idea!

Some people just love their dog a lot as this couple does Zev so they ordered a 6x12 slate of Zev at his favorite place, Kennebunk Beach.

This is also a 6x12 slate.  This was a birthday present that a woman gave to her husband of their boat which they love spending time on.  Its a great gift idea.

These two chairs now live at the head of the cove in Cape Porpoise, Maine.  If you'r ever down there look to your left as you head to the Pier.  A good customer of mine ordered these for a fund raiser auction and they were purchased by a couple who are lucky enough to enjoy this view everyday.  A perfect home for the chairs.

These boys live out west and the father of one heard about my slates and ordered this as a suprise for his wife.

The Brick Store Museum in Kennebunk, Maine.  This was a Christmas gift from a woman to her husband, I believe he is on the board of the Museum.

This slate was actually done on a 12x18, and I used a chain for hanging because it was so heavy.  The slate was requested by a wonderful couple that summer in Maine.  It has multiple meaning to them.  It is of their cottage in Maine but it is named after their dog that they love so much but unfortunately lost.  He is painted sitting in front of the cottage.

This slate was a house warming gift to a girl who just purchased her first home and as you can probably guess, she loves riding horses.

This is one of two chairs that were given as a thank you gift to a couple in Maine.  It is of Cape Porpoise harbour in Maine.  A place everyone must see.
